1962 Gibson L-5 CESN
This is a well-played, but still nice example, featuring an all-carved construction in combination with original PAF humbucking pickups. According to Gibson customer service, "the shipping ledger archives show serial number 61427 as a L-5CES Natural finish model shipped from the Kalamazoo, MI factory on 12-20-1962". This makes it one of only 11 Produced by Gibson in '62. These Gibson guitars of the 1960s can be very tricky with extremely thin and narrow necks, and although this example also has the thinner neck shape, fortunately it still is 1-11/16" wide at the nut.
The back shows some moderate 'birdseye'. Also noteworthy is the non-wire ABR bridge with nylon saddles.
